As the Senior Client Executive / Client Executive at Schroders, you will be part of the Institutional Business team working under the direction of the Head of Institutional Client Services. You will provide efficient and effective client servicing and reporting support to the Client Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client servicing and reporting support to an assigned group of client accounts
  • Resolve routine administrative matters directly
  • Prepare materials for client meetings (including re-pitches) and member briefings for review by Client Directors and coordinate printing and distribution
  • Field and coordinate responses to administration queries from clients
  • Manage distribution process for all client reporting (e.g. valuation and performance reports, management and performance fee invoices, factsheets and quarterly investment reports) and ensuring all deadlines are properly met
  • Work with various departments such as Investment support, Performance, Marketing and Operations to ensure that proper client records are set up in all systems and any changes to client details are made on a timely and accurate basis in line with internal procedures
  • Source data for and prepare quarterly investment reports for review by Client Directors
  • Source data for and prepare responses to ad hoc client requests
  • Prepare or coordinate ad-hoc and non-standard reporting as required by clients from time to time
  • Coordinate the rollover process for Defined Contribution pension scheme clients and ensure that all client procedures are up-to-date
  • Field standard retirement hotline queries
  • Ensure proper filing of all client records (in line with internal and external requirements), meeting notes and update client relationship management system on behalf of Client Directors
  • Prepare supplementary fund price information, benchmark and performance data for designated clients
  • Distribute standard investment and economic outlook information for designated clients
  • Prepare tailored investment and market commentary for key clients for review by Client Directors
  • Communicate regularly with the Client Directors and ensure they are fully apprised of any developments or issues related to their clients.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following requisites:

  • Degree graduate with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience within financial services
  • Enjoys research work and collaborating with other departments in pulling together reports and data
  • Enjoys preparing presentation decks for client meetings
  • Passionate in building relationships in a client servicing role
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Proficient in both written and verbal English and Chinese
