We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Operations Officer, Main Treasury.

Principal responsibilities

  • To supervise Note pay out operation for local banks and corporate customers.
  • To estimate Notes requirements for the following working day and request appropriate amount from Unissued Note Reserve.
  • To prepare cash for Note Repatriation to other Note Issuing Banks including Renminbi within agreed service lead time.
  • To ensure correct Notes loaded into transit boxes according to customer order and assigning operator to send correct assignment to teller booth for pay out.
  • To ensure correct information is input to Management Information System for transactions pay out to customers.
  • To perform account reconciliation for selected General Leger accounts on daily basis.
  • To control costs and overtime below plan.
  • To ensure resources cross utilizing and actively support Note pay in operation.
  • To ensure the correctness of Note pay in when deputizing Note Pay in Officer.

  • Sound experience in cash handling
  • Good supervisory and Resource planning skills
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The position will be based in the HSBC Kowloon Bay office. Shift duty, and working on Saturdays would be required
