We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Operations Assistant, Main Treasury.

Principal responsibilities

  • To deal with bulk cash deposits and withdrawal transactions and input data of cash transactions to Management Information System.
  • To deal with cash deposits at Cash Processing Centre which includes counting, verification of notes and coins and pass transactions to the Bank Workstation.
  • To deal with Automated Teller Machine deposit which includes cash and cheques and adjust the accounting entries if required.
  • To be responsible for the delivery of cash run boxes, coins, flag day collections to and from cash vehicles, and to check and sign for acknowledgements.
  • To raise internal vouchers for branches and customers and post entries to the Bank Workstation.
  • To deal with follow up jobs for Automated Teller Machine deposits, advise customer for discrepancy and file records.
  • To coordinate in the preparing of the departmental forecast and keep track of the actual expenditures of all sections, if required.
  • To check and record exception on Charges and Management Information System Report and generate relative statistic reports for Management, if required.
  • To perform other clerical duties as required.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cash and cheque handling
  • Previous experience in customer service functions
  • Good interpersonal skills and good team player
  • The position will be based in the HSBC Kowloon Bay office. Shift duty, and working on Saturdays would be required
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
