A boutique asset management firm with a background of mega steel and investment conglomerate is looking for a high caliber professional to join as an Operation and Back Office Manager. The position is based in Hong Kong.

The employer is a boutique asset management firm which holds HKSFC No.4 and 9 licenses. The sole shareholder of the firm is a mega steel and investment management conglomerate which operates in mainland China and globally. With the risen need, the Hong Kong asset management firm is recruiting an Operation and Backoffice Manager to join their small team.  

 

Responsibilities:

In charge of daily operational and back office work flow including liaising with SFC, compliance and legal consultants, brokers, auditors, and accountant

Provide supports to compliance monitoring and risk management, and manage accounts and funds setup issues

Perform monthly NAV, manage daily position reconciliation and keep relationship with brokers/custodian

Ensure the operating procedures comply with regulations under the assistance of independent compliance consultancy firm which has been hired

 

Requirements:

University graduates in related disciplines

2-3 years relevant experience in financial industry

Strong knowledge in market practice, operational control and regulatory requirements related to asset management business and various investment instruments

Advanced skills in MS

Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin

With strong entrepreneurship and team spirit, extremely motivated, organized and able to complete tasks independently

 

Location: Central Plaza, Wan Chai, Hong Kong

Compensation: Competitive 12-month base salary + annual bonus based on performance

Working hours: 8:30-12:00, 13:00-17:00, 5 Days per week
