This position holder will directly report to the Head of the international Business Department and manage the development and strategic growth of international business including a broad set of activities across overseas business development, client service and strategy/product design and implementation. He/she will push existing teams to achieve AUM target and also help the firm strategically develop international business and promote reputation in overseas market. To fulfill his/her role, he/she also needs to develop positive relationship with other internal departments and relevant parties within the group.

1Job Description

·         To lead the team develop overseas institutional business; obtain investment mandates and business cooperative opportunities through extensive research and business development effort;

·         To provide first-class services to clients and maintain strong long-term client relationship;

·         To initiate and conduct meetings with clients and other relevant external parties

 

2Position requirement:

 

Knowledge/Experience:

 

  • At least 15 years of experience as senior sales/business development roles in global financial institutions with proven performance; overseas work experience required;
  • Comprehensive connection in global and China financial market, particularly in asset owners
  • Previous managerial experience of leading a department/team in client-facing roles;
  • Excellent knowledge of financial products, investment, portfolios and the industries
  • Master degree (or above) from well-established university; oversea education preferred;

 

 

Skills/Qualifications:

 

  • Fluency in English including polished written and oral communication skills and public speaking skills
  • Strong analytical skills and good understanding of investments, portfolio management etc. 
  • Integrity, flexibility, down to earth, and good teamwork spirit
  • Strong relationship management skills with a consultative sales approach
  • Willingness to travel aboard frequently
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit and is willing to assume additional responsibilities

Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills and familiar with tools such as Bloomberg, Wind etc
