An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading global Investment Bank, within the PMO team responsible for the implementation of MiFID II across the bank. This is a 6 month rolling contract and will require solid previous PMO experience within a Tier 1 Investment Banking environment.

  • Central liaison across all divisions.
  • Maintain bank-wide governance model.
  • Support bank-wide Steering Group / Workstreams through overall communication, monitoring, and reporting across Programs. Define and maintain the cross-workstream implementation plan.
  • Act as central co-ordination point for rule interpretation, advocacy, and workstream assignment.
  • Co-ordinate bank-wide contribution to external industry and regulatory forums.
  • Manage and resolves cross-program risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Provide insight and intelligence on Peer, Industry & Regulator thinking as the Rules solidify.
  • Facilitate strategic decisions within and across the delivery workstreams - ensure design and implementation adhere to bank standards, technology strategy, leverage industrialization capabilities appropriately, and are signed off by the accountable sponsors.
  • Ensure Program Management tools are leveraged by all delivery workstreams. 

Skills

  • Strong academic background with a degree education.
  • Solid previous PMO experience within a Tier 1 Investment Banking environment.
  • Consultancy background (ideally Big 4), would be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience with MiFID II is highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • High level of experience with management information.
  • Good technical skillset.
  • Experience of senior stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of budget and forecasting.
