Senior Associate | Transaction Reporting | MOD

Drive your own career within our Market Operations Division

The Regulatory Reporting Team is responsible for the on-going management and administration of global OTC transactions across all businesses which are cleared or reportable from pre-settlement to termination. As such, the team is required to analyse proposed transactions and implement their successful operation in line with new legislation as well as contribute to managing the implementation of regulatory changes from other countries.

You will be responsible for:
  • investigating reconciliation exceptions internally and at the regulatory repository
  • preparation and monitoring of the risk reporting process
  • escalating any issues that arise through reconciliations and reporting
  • involvement in testing of project work to meet changes in regulatory rules
  • assisting Front Office with regulatory reporting queries.

A bit about you

To be successful in this role you will be enthusiastic, analytical and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will also have:
  • prior experience in financial markets across various products
  • intermediate knowledge and experience with Excel
  • excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • be pro-active and have good attention to detail
  • business analysis skills preferable
  • an understanding of DTCC, or Marketwire would be advantageous
  • possess tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or a related field.
